B+W always gives a nice "period" feel to a picture.

Very nice, is that on a nature trail? Actually would you believe it's in the middle of the suburbs of Toronto by Lake Ontario? There are a couple of conservation areas that are placed where there are environmentally sensitive areas. In this case the Rattary Marsh has a lot of unique plant and animal species. Go a half mile either way where I am standing and you are in someone's backyard. I am coming back with some slide film in the fall. ;D

Excellent light and perspective. Love it. And the fact that the preserve is in the middle of a big city makes it more interesting.
Did you use any b&w film filters? I just got a red filter and I'll be trying that one out soon. Would you, or someone else, know if you have to stop down the lens manually with this filter or would the camera give an accurate meter reading with the filter on?

Minoltaman,
The camera's meter will automatically compensate for the filter if it is an SLR that meters through the lens.
Or, indeed, any camera such as the Olympus Trip 35 or Minolta Hi-Matic 7 or the various Canonet cameras and others in which the light meter sensor is covered by the filter

What a pleasant-looking spot! I bet it's spectacular in color when the leaves change! ;D
