Dear fellow camera collectors,
about 4 weeks ago I spent a Saturday hiking through the foggy Alpstein montains.
At first we (a colleague accompanied me) had the hope, we could reach the upper
corner of the fog - but no way.
The ridges are steep in that area, and I could only suspect what the view might look like
on better wheather. On the other hand, there is always a good opportunity for good
photographs in foggy wheather.

We went on ...

... and were happy, the Swiss did do a good job in marking their hiking trails.

At some point a sign told unexperienced people to stop and turn around. Due to the fog
path was pretty slippery.

I saw lots of this flower - and it did hurt me, I never succeeded in taking a nice
picture of it. I had to pass this task for the mext time :-(
5. Misty dawn, Tamron SP 3.5/17
We arrived back in the valley quite late - and still the fog did persist.

Behind this lake we visited an Inn for a good evening meal, and we had to use
our flashlights to walk back to the valley (this lake is at 1000m altitude, the parking lot
at 700m).
The weather was not like we wished I could have been - but I returned a couple
of days later... maybe these pictures are interesting anyway.
Best regards
