I started New Year's Day with a photoshoot with a couple of my local photo buddies. We had quite a little snowstorm, which made for hard shooting, interesting images, and a deep appreciation for Starbucks once we'd had enough snow for one morning :-) Lighthouse Nikon FM10, Nikon 50/1.8E, Neopan 400 River Sign Nikon FM10, Nikon 100/2.8E, Neopan 400 Old Port Credit Sign Nikon FM10, Nikon 100/2.8E, Neopan 400 Rodinal 1:50 Gene

Nice compositions, nice exposures and nice processing, Gene. The tone scale is nearly all the top part - and I know it's not easy to get fine gradations of tone at the top end - but you got it here, and the few blacks are really black. Well done, especially in the cold with coffee calling!
Your black and whites keep driving me towards Rodinal. I've got an exposed cassette of FP4 taken some time ago, so long that I can't now remember whats on it and what camera I used. I've now got a small syringe that will measure down to half a ml, so I really must mix some Rodinal and try it. I might be surprised in more ways than one.
BTW, have you tried cross-processing C41 colour print film, or E6 slide film, in Rodinal? I've got several ancient (nearly a year old) rolls of exposed C41, and I don't really want to spend a lot of money having them processed. The price has gone up to £3.49 a roll locally, just for processing not with prints. Even if you haven't tried it, I think I'll give one a go and see what happens. No great loss if it fails.

Randy, Peter, thanks for looking.
Peter, I've not tried cross-processing C41 colour in Rodinal but I think I'll try it. I have a bunch and it sounds like a fun experiment.
