Last Sunday I went garden visiting again - this time I think I overdid the photos bringing back over 200. That's the downside of digital!
Opened in 2000 as A Millenium Project, these gardens are now beginning to establish themselves. We went there a couple of years ago and they were not a patch on the pictures you see here now. Given a bit more time and I think it will develop into one of the great gardens of the world. Situated in 500 acres of the old Middleton Estate in Carmarthenshire, they are almost too big for a Sunday afternoon visit, though I confess we cheated by going around the perimeter on the electric bus!

I also climbed a folly tower built to celebrate Nelson's victories by Lord Middleton on the hill overlooking the gardens. It enabled me to catch some distant views that I would have liked to include. However, I think I have overloaded the forum already, so had better desist!
