Way out. Closer. On the extreme left is part of The Skydome. On the extreme right is the venerable Royal York Hotel which used to dominate Toronto's skyline. Closest. Toronto's CN Tower on its 30th birthday. The world's tallest free standing structure (for now). Mickey

Nice ones, Mickey! I love the view from the lake. Is the CN Tower really 30 yrs old? I remember when they built it. And that *huge* Sikorsky helicopter they used to put the communications tower on the top. What a delicate job that was. The tower's a fun landmark to shoot and I like the various views you have of it.

Number 2's a superb shot Mickey - well done! Got a very strange effect scrolling up the screen on the third one - it looked as though the monitor had caved in (only worked with the mouse-wheel, not with the direction keys).
Did you do some manipulation on the sky in the first? Nice clouds.
Regards - John

Gene, Tomorrow, Monday, is the 30th anniversary. I understand they are going to get that big Sikorsky to re-enact the placing of the antenna. Yes. the tower provides 360 degrees and an infinite number of views from anywhere in the city.
John, I tried it and the effect is rather strange. I can't explain it. There was a slight atmospheric haze. In PhotoShop, I slightly increased the brightnes and the contrast to minimize the haze. I also cropped. But the clouds were nature's gift in all three pictures.

I like the way it's peeking at you in the third picture.
