All across America the fall means football. Tues, Fri. Sat or Sun makes no difference. From Pop Warner to the Pros it is still a game of guts, sweat, tears pain, joy and sadness I shoot for several local middle school and high schools. I thought I would share a few since we have a new forum more can be seen here on my flikr www.flickr.com/photos/bayou_photography/DReb Canon 70-210 f4

They are usually not the most skilled...yet...but "rocket football", as it is called around here, is absolutely fun and truely enjoying to watch.
Are you using a zoom, Rick? Or a fixed 300 or 400 length??

Both. I had a canon 70-210 and a Sigma 400 f5.6 I really wish I had a straight 300 f4

Well the pictures are superb, as always Rick. Not my idea of football (I'd be scared of somebody hitting me with all that weiight of padding), but that last shot is superb!

(I'd be scared of somebody hitting me with all that weiight of padding) I'd be scared of getting hit, by these guys with their size speed and power, without it. I know our two cultures have much different views, I personally do not care for "football" but that is why they make chocolate and vanilla.
