Christmas in old Nachitoches, La.

Only in Louisiana would have water and Christmas. This is the oldest town in La. est 1715 by the French to stop the northward expansion of the Spanish. It is named after the local Indians that Allied to the French.





in the last two you can see the French influence. It has been called little New Orleans.
And the reason they gather is one of the most spectacular fireworks show you have ever seen

Natchez has always been on our list of places to visit. Maybe next summer. Either Louisiana, Arkansas or the Carolinas. Sure miss Mississippi, friendliest people and most relaxing vacations we ever spent.

Just caught up with these, Rick. Looks like a nice place to visit! And it reminds me of Christmases in Arizona when I lived there. Just wasn't the same without snow & cold weather
