My son is helping my granddaughter get ready for the holiday season....but I don't care what anyone says...it just isn't the same without snow! www.mamiya35collectors.com/winnie the pooh.jpg[/img]

I can do without the snow (although there should be snow for Christmas) but I can't take the heat of summer down there...and I miss the real trees, too!

....So I enjoy it when my mind feels like it, curse when it gets in my way and am not leaving Michigan where we have the most finicky and unpredictable weather of anywhere I think......... Kids and grandkids or not, I have no desire to live in Florida year-round. It's far too hot and humid down there in the summer, the bugs are large and ferocious, there are no real trees (just those silly palms), and no sign of the "seasons" -- which I love -- and those hurricanes (although there were none this year) have much wider paths of destruction than our occasional tornado! Although the idea of golfing in February is rather nice...........

I just wish you'd stop sending us the tail ends of those hurricanes. And it's got so bad that we are even getting some of your tornadoes now. Stop warming the globe over there!

I saw the news report about the tornado...first one in how long? I don't want the globe any warmer, either! My son's car (BTW - not produced by the company his father works for, so it shall remain nameless)...... ...anyway, his car has an altimeter in it (why?) and I noticed while riding with him it showed we were six feet above sea level. South Florida disappears if those glaciers up north melt!

The weather acts weird everytime they put a space shuttle up.
