This one's actually from two winters ago but it matches the kind of weather we've been having lately. One of my fave shots. Taken with a Panasonic Lumix FZ20. Gene

Ho-Hum....... just ANOTHER great shot from Gene! It looks to be a lot of frozen spray/mist from the lake and it's fascinating how it takes such interesting forms. The image definitely captures the "feel" of cold and it makes me shiver just to look at it. Really wonderful. Gene.

You've captured "cold" right on the nose Gene.

Walker, Wayne, Mickey, Ron, Randy, thanks for your very kind comments. There was beautiful light that morning. A hard place to get to (walking was tricky -- the pathways were also covered in sheer ice) and very cold, but the effort was worth it.

Simply stunning, Gene. Hi-key shots are so difficult to get right. This one is. Wonderful! ;D

Superb Gene!
We aren't allowed to have cameras at work, but this morning it was that 'pink light' - everything looks different in it. As I drove to work, it was a case of 'where's my camera?. at at every bend in the road.
Understand the weather over there is a bit mad?
Regards - John

Silent, enigmatic, dreamlike, a peace pregnat with threat. I have no more pages in my dictionary. But is the horizon absolutely straight ?
