Sorry to have been away for so long. After my most recent angioplasty/stent procedure, I was plagued by chest pains so I had to do more cardiolite stress tests and have another angiogram.
The news is great. The chest pains were being caused by a tiny and unimportant minor artery that have some blockage. The stent and main arteries are clear. Heart muscles are in good shape. I met with my cardiologist today and he told me had no further restrictions on me, that I could do whatever I wanted (within reason...). In two weeks I begin cardio rehab again at the local hospital. I enjoyed rehab the first time through, but I'm curious to see how they treat repeat offenders :-)
Other good news, I'm now walking without pain and am able to carry heavier gear, such as my Nikon D200 and a lens or two. Here are a couple of shots I've taken recently. The first, ornamental grasses, was taken a few days ago with a Nikkor 180mm f/2.8 ED lens. The sunrise shot was taken this morning with a 'new' Nikon AF 28-105mm that I picked up yesterday.
