As usual Wayne, fantastic! It has been dark and gloomy here for over a week.

Actually, Wayne, Idaho is one of the few places in the US (along with the Grand Canyon) that I've never been to. Must correct that one day soon. As to your picture: Don't you love it when nature conspires to do something magnificent right outside your door?

About three years ago I shot a similar photo at sundown on what turned out to be the last really nice day of the year. Over the weekend we had temps in the 60s and quit a bit of sunshine. The forecast now is for highs in the 40s with rain--possibly snow tonight.

Gorgeous shot, Wayne. Sunsets are one of nature's most impressive scenes.
I drove across Idaho in June of 1968. At one point the view was mesas and desert as far as the eye could see; beautiful! At other times it was fabulous mountains and streams.
At one time (2004) my son did a Summer internship with IBM in Boise. Loved it and was hoping to get a job there when he graduated from his MBA program the next year. Sadly, IBM began laying off people so he wasn't able to go back. I like watching Boise State play football on their blue gridiron.

Only about thee miles SW of the store, Roy.

Walker: A lot of Air Force personnel getting ready to retire request Mountain Home AFB -- about 50 miles from Boise-- as their last posting, they stay here when they get out. Speaking of Boise State, the 10-1 Broncos play 10-0 Hawaii Friday night on ESPN for the Western Athletic Conference title and a possible BCS bowl berth. It's gonna be a battle royal and if BSU spoils Hawaii's perfect season the Broncos may have trouble getting out of the stadium. The Hawaii crowds don't make visiting teams and their fans welcome--even when the visitors lose! You can get hurt there while minding your own business. Sounds a lot like English football matches
