Shot this morning-- 22 degrees F and foggy in a field across the road from our house. Very likely the man tending this flock is Basque-. That's how most of the Basque families in this region got here initially. Idaho has the largest Basque community outside Spain. The second shot shows how area growth is making it tougher to find places for the flocks to graze in the winter.

Ditto to that, I have not been able to see your images for many days, but when I log in at work (don't tell anyone) I can?

That's rather strange. I changed providers awhile back and my photos are on a different server. I did have a feature turned on that only allows certain websites (including this one) to up load photos. I may have to turn that off. I'll go do that now.
OK. It's turned off.

Wayne, has that flock and shephard been there for a while? I remember seeing him or someone similar on the way to work from Nampa. Roy

They move all around the valley during the winter months. When I was a kid there were dozens of flocks. Now this may be the only one for all I know.
