Nice ones, Joe. I like the 28mm perspective for general photography and the 21mm perspective for a special sense of *really* wide. I regret selling my CV 21/4 and will probably acquire another one of these days ...

i think 21 is the widest i've ever gone. i had a 24 years ago on a slr (can't remember which one) but i didn't use it much. the zm 25 really turned me on to wides though. i got a pretty good deal on the 28 and decided to just blow the rest of the camera budget on the new 21. some of the shots i've seen recently with the 21 were just fantastic. it might be awhile before i come close but i think it's gonna be fun learning something new.

Nice Joe... I've been shooting with my cv 15/4.5 quite a bit lately & I've been thinking that a 21 or 25 might be a good bridge to my 35mm's... I love the 15, but it is often 'too wide' & the 35's not wide enough... I'll see where my finances leave me after the summer break... My budget is truly blown after picking up my Nicca, cv 35/2.5, & a cv meter.
Cheers & good luck with your 21!

Hang in there...more pin money will pop up sooner or later. In the meantime enjoy those lenses!!!
I am not really into the ultra wides, and, even when using my Nikkor 20-35/2.8 generally find I go no wider than between 24 and 28.

thanks peter!
the camera budget will rise again ron, i'm sure. i have been spending the remains of my last few sales and that is all gone now. i had a very nice canon collection going and decided to sell it all and start over. i then bought some stuff, tried it and then sold it. hopefully i'm done for awhile. joe

Just put a bid in on a Nikon F2 body that has three days to go. But the starting price is high enough it just might hold up. If so, I'll have some serious 'splainin' to do to my mate. Wouldn't be the first time, however.

And, Wayne, what explaining does she have to do to you when the croppings of her vice have arrived at the house!?!?

Wayne,
Hmmm...you sure somewhat skirted the question. But then I take you for a gentleman!!

Ron:
When I say vices, I'm talking about cameras and lenses. I have noticed her watching the Home shopping network a lot recently. She hasn't received any packages (I know of) yet, however.

Nice! The Minolta M 90/4 is supposed to be a super optic. Small too. Is it for your CL?

very nice, i got it at such a good price. i picked it up today at lunchtime (gotta be the fastest ebay transaction for me, ever) and true to the description it did look new. original box, hood and caps. clear glass looks like it's never had a lens cloth to it. it even had the warranty card and the little bits of info about lenses and repair depots in the box still. the rubber hood is perfect. i had this lens before when i had a couple of cle bodies and quite liked it. and yes, it's for the cl kit. that kit is growing - 21/28/40/90 - fun!!
