It is marked "TA 3". I've searched google, checked Rick Oleson's lens mount page, and checked the common (and uncommon , like Petriflex, and Yashica Pentamatic) mounts.

Have you checked, that it is not a Tamron Adaptall lens mount for Pentax? Somehow it looks familiar to me but I can not find the ring. I am sure, that I am wrong but this side of the adapter has much common with Adaptall.

Hi John, I have more T mounts than you can shake a stick at so I went through a pile of them to check. Wayne is definitely right, Nikon it is. The slot on the outside for the lens locking pin is the giveaway. The notch on the one foot threw me as mine don't have this. Contax/Yashica has that slot to the left of one foot, minolta the slot to the right of one foot. This is definitely Nikon but the TA3 doesn't mean much to me, I have TA2, TA, TA II, but can't find a TA3 in my goodies.

Thank you. Nikon is one lens system I don't have.
