I knew that. Webtv runs everything together though and Freda told me to say that. She's laughing! I had an ex also, but that was 28 years ago.

I guess the Olympus Stylus Epic would fit here? It's my take-everywhere cam because I can slip it in a pocket and it doesn't weigh much.

That right Gene. Sometimes it's nice to just whip the clicker out of your pocket and not have to worry about settings...just click it and scoot!

Me too Gene! The epic has that fantastic lens and really low light focusing capabilities.

Hi, All this talk about the merits of modern P&S cameras has made me itchy! . I've got a Nikon Lite Touch Zoom 105AF, A Vivitar PS 145 (auto focus/DX/Auto flash) and a Canon Snappy LXII - plus a couple of others in a cardboard box somewhere whose names I've forgotten for the moment, all of which I picked up for next to nothing on market stalls because nobody seemed to want them. One of these fine days I might even get around to putting films in them and trying them out ... that's after I finish the films in my OM10, ST 605, Mamiya DSX 1000 and Canon T70. Expect to see pictures any year now ;D. I did think of starting off my youngest grandson Luke (five in August) on one of them, but he's seen his dad use digital, and me use my Epson 850Z digital, and whenever he's out with either of us taking pictures he wants to look at the back of the camera and asks to see the picture we've just taken ... a child of his age!! Oh! I almost forgot. I was also given a Fujifilm Fotonex 15, but that's APS which I don't care for and haven't seen around locally for a time. I doubt if I'll ever use it. Peter

I also have the Olympus Infinity Stylus Epic with the 35/2.8 lens and it is the only camera that I continually have film in and carry all the time.
It is so pocketable and convenient, but also a quality camera that produces fine results. Over the years of its production, it has gotten numerous raves from reviewers as a great PS.
It is the only PS that I have had that I trust putting in slide film.
Also have an Olympus Infinity Stylus(not the Epic model) with the 35/3.5 lens which I had purchased before the Epic model came out.
You cannot go wrong with this one!

Just joined the club... Picked up myself a NIB Stylus Epic cheaply from ebay... I usually carry around my Canonet G-III QL17, but it really isn't small enough sometimes... I had read a review a year or so ago, but was looking for a deal on the Yashica T4. The prices for the 'higher end' p&s cameras are still out of my league, so I went with the Olympus. Will try to post some pics when I get my first roll back.
