Looks like you will have some company in the Liedolf dept. Found this at the Sally, it is a Lordette and is very similar. I am hoping to put a roll of film through this next days off. Excuse the poor photos. Bob

I would be very interested in seeing the photos you get from it. We have a Leidolf Wetzlar Lordox BL and though the camera funtions okay I was a little dissapointed in the results. However it could be due to the age of the camera; slow shutter speeds and slightly fogged lens maybe.

We will see what we can do about getting you some results in a coup;e of days. Should be interesting in any event to see how this $10.00 camera performs.

When were these cameras made? They have a 40's look. Very simple but a big step up from box cameras in terms of controls. I'm guessing these were aimed at the snapshooter market, the same market as the Kodak Pony models?

Around 1952 or so from what one site says. They do have a 40's look though, don't they.

Just gave the Lordette another look as you had mentioned possible fogging in your sample. Sad to say that mine looks to have some haze on the inside of the lens so I won't be taking any photos with it. Too bad as everything else appears to work properly. DYI cleaning might be impossible for a guy like me with four thumbs. Shelf queen for the time being.

I noticed the pictures from this old thread were missing so I took some new ones.
