I picked one up from a local a few weeks ago. Pretty good chunk of change but it still has over three years warranty and the guy said he would help me out with any problems. I have to say it's the most intelligent camera I've ever owned. I've shot it mainly on AV and AF. It has flawlessly handled some of the most confusing lighting that you can encounter. Out of 8 36 exposure rolls of Tri X, only 1 frame was out of focus. I'm haunted by the possibility of "error" messages but comforted by the extended warranty. Am awaiting my 1st roll of Velvia and if I can figure out how will try to upload some shots. The camera inspires confidence and I see it not as a replacement but as an enhancement to my other gear. It's certainly a carry every where camera.

What's a Leica CM, Butch? Do you have a pic of it? Is it some kind of Leica P&S type cam? Sounds intriguing.

I think it means Compact M but has no detachable lens. Comes with a 40mm 2.8. B-H sells them for about $1,200.00 or so. All Titanium body, AF or MF, AP or M. Light, compact (not flat though). Automatic DX but can set exposure compensation to defalt to -1.7 for Tri X e.g. I'm really taken with its performance. It seems fool proof. My only misgiving is the horror stories of its early issue. Maybe they have the bugs worked out by now.

Goggled it. A really expensive point and shoot. The price is probably why I haven't heard of it.
