This is my Canonet QL-19. I took pitures with it during the winter of 2004-05 at Blakeslee Log Cabin. A Log Toolshed? Granny Blakeslee used to make her rumatism medicine in this here pot. This is the Blakeslee Log Cabin. It's a historic national landmark. In closing, I took this picture last summer at Conneaut Harbor.

Thank You Sir! That log cabin looks better in Black & White for some reason.

Nice series, Randy. I particularly like that shot of the harbour. Man, those Canonets were (and are) jewels!

The Canonets do take good pictures and are fun to use. What film did you use??? A true b&w or a C41 process? The tones look just a little too much neutral gray to me, rather than a wider b&w tonal range. But the shots are neat and interesting.

That camera looks familiar. I bought it a couple years ago on the Bay of Evil Dave.

Thank You Sir! That log cabin looks better in Black & White for some reason. That's because back in the days when they were building cabins everyone say the world in black and white. When I think back to things that happened when I was a kid, those memories are in black and white---really. That's probably because I can store more black and white images in my limited mental space!
