Took some test shots with my Yashica Electro 35...had some highlight trouble...here are the ones I liked best...Taken with BW400CN and scanned with the Microtek slimscan C3... I filtered these after I scanned them...do not own b&w filters yet...

From the looks of the blown out highlights looks like the pictures might have been a bit over exposed or overdeveloped. A key to Black & White is to keep the negatives thin so some light can pass through all portions.

Have a close look at the negatives and see if there is detail in the highlights. If so, then the scanner is clipping the highlights (a common problem). If the negs themselves have no highlight detail, then it's an exposure issue.

I actually scanned the print here...I will scan the negative next time...I am definitely going to look at the negatives closer to get a better idea...the prints are just from the CVS one hour photo...
I am switching to Ilford for a while so I develop myself!
