I was asked to shoot some of Louisiana's wading birds for local conservation magazine. They all had to be B&W as they do not do color. I am going to post three here and three in another thread All were shot with my Canon T90 Canon 500 f4.5L Vivitar 1.5 converter Giottos tripod cable release Tri color heron Reddish Egret Black crowned night heron I took all of these at the Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge. It is teamimg with wildlife and birds. You must use a shallow draft boat to access most of it.

Thank you all. My excellent 500 f4.5 had to go into the shop for some mis-alignment and I don't have a head to support the 400 f2.8, yet so I have sorely missed my birding and the "L" glass sharpness
