Gene, Gene, Gene...
Now, was this around the harbor???
I love shots like this...not abstract but I can't come up with a word right now!! And, of course, it HAS to be in B&W.
I was going to ask for more details as to what it is around or whatever...but...now...I really do not care to know. Just appreciateing the curves and what appears to be a circular stairwell as I see more rails circulating under the main one.
You come up with the most fantastic photos!!!

nice shot. that canon is seems so sharp. hard to believe that the a620 might be sharper.

Ron, Bob, Joe, thanks for looking and commenting!
Ron, it's a new fence in a renovated park adjacent to the harbour. More a decorative piece than anything -- it protects some of the newly-planted flower beds
Joe, the S3 is pretty sharp but I swear the A620 is sharper. I like 'em both.

Gene: Once again, you astound me with your ability to find a picture. I wonder how many people walked past this railing, and never saw what you just did...a neat photo opportunity! Well done!

Ron,
You called that correctly. Sometimes even we experienced photogs will walk by something a 100 times before a bell in our brain suddenly goes off.
I have had people stop when I am taking a picture and ask what are you taking a picture of...huh...that?
Gene definately does come up with some really cool shots.

Gene.
Beautiful. It needs no other words. I look but I don't think I have your ability to see. I have always loved colour but I am tempted to switch to black & white. Thank you for those beautiful pictures you keep showing us.

Ron, Ron, Mickey, thanks kindly, but you're making me blush.
I think if I have a specialty it's trying to find interesting photos in everyday possiblities. If I didn't, I'd quickly run out of things to photograph since I rarely travel and am rather set in my walking routines. Sometimes I'm lucky ...
