I have a project to digitalize my pictures. Most of them exists only as a paper prints. First two are taken with some Retina modell, I don't remember with what exactly. I shot the third picture with a Practica FX and the only lens it had was F2,8/50mm Tessar. All these pictures are shot ca. 52 years ago. This was still the time of Steam Ships The priest and a Band. If it isn't obvious, the priest (my father) is on the left. We are going to the weddings on the nearby island. The expression on the priests face doesn't mean narrow mindeness So, I am a Son Of A Preacherman and I do like Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield ;D

Lovely photographs Reijo. I sailed on a few ships similar to those (not that long ago though).
Nothing wrong with that 50/2.8 Tessar. I'm still using one for close-ups.

It is always interesting to see photos of a different time and place. These have a nice feel to them. The best of luck on your project to scan your prints.

Reijo, these photos have aged well. Very nice work, however long ago you took them! Gene
