I don't usually notice the bokeh (hate that word) of a lens but that Sigma really makes you sit up and take notice. It is almost like a zoom mirror lens. Enjoyed the rest of the photo but you would never catch me handling a snake like that.

That is interesting. I never noticed that with my 28mm F2.8 ais Nikkor. Which version of that Nikkor are you using? I will have to check mine out for those kinds of OOF.

Thought it was going to be one of those religious people with the snake. I was relieved when you said it was someone who knew how to handle it.
When I was at sea we used to call in at Port Elizabeth in South Africa, where they had a large snake park. Made a point of calling in there every so often. The disconcerting thing was that the snake handler was a different person every time!
