As promised some pics of the 21 inch rain. These are about 12 hours into it. We have now had over 30 inches since it started It eventually got so deep the swing went under. That is when my minivan flooded Canon T90 Canon 50mm f1.4 SSC Kodak C41 B&W

Rick, that's a lot of (too much) rain and I'm sorry to hear about your van. It's not as if y'all didn't have enough problems with Katrina last year.

Hope you and your family are ok Rick. Everything else is just another possession and can be replaced. Take care buddy and know we're all hoping the best for you. Here the lakes and rivers are nearly dry. Lake Superior is at an all time low too. On the bright side cottagers have a hundred or so extra feet of beach, LOL. Oh ok, fifty feet then, approx. 20 meters for our worldwide members.
