I tend to lean wide also. Here's a Sigma 21-35 shot (AE1-P) Fuji Superia, converted in PS This is one of my favorite shots. It's of photographer George Krause. We live close and hang a bit from time to time. This was shot on a Mamiya 645AFD, using a Hartblei 45mm lens. I used TXP 320 developed in Pyro. More later Jules

Jules, The shot of the little girl is fantastic. The composition with her pose and the shadows. And for a conversion to b&w, the wide range of tones are beautifu and I would have guessed it had been taken with b&w film. Ron Head Kalamazoo, MI Ron Thanks very much, I used a process I just learned about that seems to work well on medium to low contrast film scans. It's all here (The high contrast conversion) www.radiantvista.com/video_tutorials/This is one of the most informative sets of tutorials I have found, both the video and the PDFs. HIGHLY recommended. Cheers Jules

Hey Jules
I like to see de-saturated pictures, but is there any chance we could see the 'before' as well? Not familiar with George Krause, but it seems to me that this is a photograph of a camera with George Krause in the background!! LOL

Here's the "raw" scan of the girl swinging, slightly sharper due to the compression. Cheers Jules

Sorry B&W fans but I have to say I prefer the colour. I would have been proud of that one Jules.
