Taken with a Nikon F2, Nikkor 24 f2.8 and Fortepan 400 processed in HC110 Dil. B for 7 min 30 seconds.

Seems to be a bit of a 'comfort zone', this Balzacs.
I can only imagine that the shots are taken from a staircase leading up the side of the place (other than that, you've cut the eyes out of a portrait and are standing in a secret passage!).
Nobody mind you snapping away?
Great shot too - the wide angle is working properly, but would they put up with it if you put a zoom on and seemed to be homing in on them?

You're good. I was taking the shot from the stairs. Balzac's is one of my favourite haunts for coffee in Toronto.
I pre-metered and knew I was only going to get one shot out of the equation.
