I took this one a long time ago in Jefferson Ohio of the Train Depot. Not the greatest quality from the old Spartus Full Vue, but look how the flag up on the flagpole is frozen straight out and square as a die. I walked a ways down and shot the old Jefferson Feed Mill also. Feed Mills used to be a common sight in every town along the way in rural America, and now most of them are gone also. On the way out of town we crossed one of the local covered bridges. We have 19 of them here in Ashtabula County, and number 20 is under construction now. The State Road covered bridge will be the longest and highest in the world. Before we turned home, we stopped by the Fairgrounds and caught a local racer giving his horse a workout on the old Fairgrounds dirt track. Temperature was 14 degrees F, and the old Spartus started to frost up. So I pulled my old Ansco Speedex Junior out of my pocket and shot this one as he went past me.
