It's a farm sale in 1965. The man with the clipboard is evaluating the milk cow. Meanwhile, the cow is giving him a critical once-over. This picture was taken by my father with a Leica Model A on Panatomic-X rated at ISO 100 and developed in UFG. Walker

Ron, maybe she's not checking out the man at all. Perhaps she's looking for a flat rock! Walker

Ron, you received a country education rather quickly. Just be happy that you weren't barefoot when you jumped onto that "rock"! I think I was a teenager before I began wearing shoes in warm weather.
As for the flat rock, there's an old saying that's "It's rainin' like a cow peeing on a flat rock". That's a lot of rain.

You don't think there was something deep-rooted going on there - something psychological perhaps? !
Walker - Once again I'm amazed at the dynamic range of that photo. Great!
Regards - John

Regards - John John, thank you very much. My father would be pleased that his 40+ year old images taken with an uncoated 5cm f/3.5 Elmar have survived to be enjoyed. I've scanned perhaps 325 or more of his images so far and haven't scratched the surface. Digitizing them all will probably take the rest of my life. (I'm fast approaching 64) It takes about a day for each roll that I scan but when I get to the odd negatives such as the ones taken with the Foth-Derby on 127 roll film and cut film, it's going to slow me down a lot. I'll try to select one now and then that I think is worth seeing but not so often that the members tire of them. Walker
