Very nice pictures, Bob.
Beautifully exposed, and with an excellent full range of tones, some of the best I've seen from chromogenic black and white film. I tried XP when it first came out but was rather disappointed in the brown/blue tone and lack of contrast, but it seems to have improved beyond recognition. The lack of grain at 400 ASA is remarkable.
Its very difficult to pick a favourite. I love the textures in the tree stump, and the reflections in the third picture, but for 'aaah' appeal I've got to go for the last one of the litle puppy - border collie?

Thanks for the comments. The pup, a supposed Rat Terrier from a rescue is 2 years old and as meek as a lamb. The meek part is totally out of character for them. That shot is the only one done at a rated 400 asa. The rest were shot at 100 asa. I have had good luck with Kodak BWCN also. Scanned on a Minolta 5400 as a colour neg and then auto colour and contrast corrected in PS Elements 2, a little USM and a quick and dirty convert to greyscale. Nothing fancy I'm afraid. I still can't believe those cheap Jupiter lenses either.

Bob,
Very nice pictures. I especially like number three, its full tonal range and amazing depth of field.
