Everybody knows the Plant Lady. Energetic, salt-of-the-earth, her skin weathered but beautiful, her smile exploding from her face - great bone structure, and piercing blue eyes. She's small in stature, but a dominating presence. I chuckle watching the young men break their necks for a glimpse of her when she enters a room. She doesn't understand what all the fuss is about.
That's beauty.
If you live in Fayetteville, you have probably seen her quietly at work. She's a sought-after interior-scapes master, and many Fayetteville haunts are home to her well-cared for plants. Nice to know somebody's hard at work saving us from plastic-tree hell.
Tell her you saw her photo. Tell her she's lovely.

Ali: She kindly allowed me a portrait while chatting this morning at the outdoor Farmers Market on the square. Her husband, Brad, is a photographer and graphic artist, and together they come to market to sell prints and coasters with his images on them. She's got a set of peepers to die for - great , big, classic bedroom eyes. Brads fairly handsome, also. More importantly, they're friendly folks - every town in the world needs more like these.
