Once again half of Manchester is migrating to Las Vegas to sing Blue Moon and see Ricky Hatton knock Floyd Mayweather's head off ( ! ).
"While most boxers arrive in Las Vegas with entourages, Hatton arrives with the whole of Manchester in tow." (BBC)
Only problem is - it's on at 4am over here. All the football (soccer) teams playing on Sunday have given strict instructions to the players not to stay up to watch the fight.
If these two box to their full potential, it should be the best fight since Ali was still Cass the Gas.
My prediction? Pretty Boy Mayweather won't be !! But I have to admit, a lot of good commentators are going for Mayweather. I think he'll never have experienced anybody who can punch as viciously as Hatton from any direction, and that will just swing it for the Hitman.
Don't miss this one!

They should have banned boxing after Ali retired.

Well - first let me offer apologies on behalf of my fellow countrymen. Booing the US national anthem was unacceptable. Please put it down to over-eagerness and over-excitement. (although I have to say that the guy who was singing it made it last twice as long as it normally would be).
As for the fight itself, Well the ref was totally biased - some of his decisions in the firxt two rounds allowed Maywether to pick Ricky off, and when Maywether changed his stance to that of Hatton, not a single decision went against him.
Having said that, it didn't matter - if it hadn't happened in the tenth, it would have happened in the 11th or 12th. Ricky Hatton was shown up as a light-welterweight who'd been punchiing above his weight. Couldn't do that against Maywether, (although he was as brave a fighter as anyone there had seen.
And anyone who can attract 25,000 Brits (the final figure) to Las Vegas, MUST have attracted the attention of the tourist people,

I'll never forget the fight when all those people paid big dollars for their tickets and the fight ended two minutes into the 2nd round. Can't remember who the participants were though.
