Well Christmas is almost over here. We had a very pleasant but fairly quiet family Christmas at home - well, as quiet as a six-year-old grandson would allow it to be - with masses of food and plenty of drink to go with it. But this evening the rest of the folks wanted to watch a movie that didn't really interest me, so I thought I come on line and see if anyone else was about.
My daughter and son-in-law with their three young children will be descending on us over New Year's Day, so I expect we'll have it all over again - this time with four young boys around. There will be numerous presents given out again, so I'll buy Luke a small extra present so he doesn't feel left out when the other three open theirs.

At least we avoided having the television on for most of the day but listened to the "wireless" instead.
