Broke down and purchased Photoshop Elements 6 Saturday. I have been using Photoshop 7 but it has a great many features I never use for processing photos, the full blown PS costs a lot more and it was impossible to get a converter for the latest Nikon RAW files for PS7 (PSE6 has a converter).
It got the program at Costo for $80-- $20 cheaper than list price. I really messed up, however, because a couple of weeks ago they had it on speciat for $50!
The only problem I've had so far is one I have with a lot of image programs--getting it to print properly-sized photos. The program has it's sizing and printing portion but you also have to go through the printer's interface program and one sometimes seems to cancel the other. I'm sure I'll eventually get it figured out.

Wayne, you might find it depends on the pixels/inch setting of the original image when you resize it.
My own problem is getting the picture centred on the paper, it always gets pushed up into one corner. I work around it by by creating a new white A4 document and pasting the resized image onto it,
