I love those extreme depth of field shots. I have a hard time finding a back ground that will show off the distance out here on the flats..

Since this was shot on a digital the 200mm end of the Kiron zoom was actually the equivalent of a 300mm
Whenever we visit the Midwest it's tough for us "mountain folk" to adjust to those hundreds of miles of flatness. Ya need a mountain here and there for some perspective.
I checked it out on Google Earth. The house at the bottom of thr hill is about 1.5 miles from where I was standing. The microwave towers on top of the mountain in the distance, are about 7 miles away (as a crow flies).
