Of all the SLR's I have owned none have meant more than my old A1. I bought it in 1990 slightly used. It came with an old chrome nose breech mount 50mm f1.4

Hi,
As you might expect from recent postings, I join with Rick in going for a Canon and, like him, it's got to be the A1 which I've had since the mid 1980s. We've got used to each other over the past 20 years. I won't post another A1 picture because Rick's already done that, and mine looks much the same.
At the moment it's got competition from my Christmas present T70. I'm only halfway through a roll on that, but I'm getting to like it more and more. Time will tell if it supplants the A1.

And what would you expect from a Mamiya man? ;D I have two that I use all the time...my Mamiya 1000DTL... This one is really a warhorse...built like a tank! I have two of them, plus at least one each of the other DTL and all the TL series! ...and the one I have really been using most often for about the past three years...my Mamiya NC1000... The NC is my favorite Mamiya. I actually have seven (7) working ones right now (this happens to be one of the NC1000-s models). I also have the silver/black version... ;D

Here is my "war horse". Purchased in 1986. Serviced once. It is an extension of my mind and my hands. It has faithfully taken thousands of pictures - mostly slides. It does not like to remain idle for very long and as long as it is used it is a happy camera. I have treated it to a host of useful accessories. I now have about 160 cameras but don't know what I would do without this faithful companion. Mickey
