Picked up a 1968 Nikon F with the TN finder tonight for what I consider a good price (a lot less than they were three years ago). Looks to be in nice condition. Would have rather had the FTN finder which is what my original F had, but for the price I can dispense with the auto indexing. Haven't held an "F" since the mid '70s but I still have its "fell" imprinted in my memory. Fortunately a good share of my MF ai lenses also have the "fork" so I can use them on the F. Maybe it will arrive in time for some door shots!

Nice going, Wayne! Looking forward to your Nikon F door shots, and of course if the door's locked, you can use the F to beat your way in, without damaging the camera in any way Gene

Way to go, Wayne. I have an FTn that has had it's meter adjusted for presently available batteries and it gave me one of the most evenly exposed rolls of film I've ever taken. It's easy to see why they found favor with the Pros.

Congrats with the score Wayne, I have both an eyelevel prism F and and one with the Ftn meter head. Nice tanks of cameras.

I had a Ftn and I loved the viewfinder nice and clear no clutter. Enjoy the TN just don't drop it on your foot.

The F4 is the one I wouldn't want to drop on my foot!
