The call of Nikon proved too strong I wound up pulling the trigger on a F2 with a DP-1 finder. I already have all the relevent Nikkor glass. So......I can't wait to get my new toy in the new year. Happy New Year everyone.

Oh, that is one sweet camera. The precision and solid build is just outstanding IMHO. I don't use mine as much as I used to but once in a while we go for a walk together and have some fun. Espcially good with a 105mm F2.5 Nikkor!

The last of the hand made Nikons. Many people rate the F2 as the best Nikon ever.

Good catch. There is just something about an F2 that makes it my favourite F body to use. I am sure you will be very happy with it.
