thought i'd update you guys with my ongoing bout of buying...it all started with a simple om1, right here.
i just won a zuikko 180/2.8 on the bay for a pretty good price.
while i have not used the om1 very much YET i have been busy gathering old lenses to form what may be the biggest single system kit that i have ever owned before!
i won an om2n which i'm still waiting to receive, along with a 28-48 zoom which seems to be on the rare side, bought another winder for the om2 and a 135/3.5 which arrived a few days ago.
i look forward to some time off over christmas to actually haul all this gear out and shoot with it.

i've discovered that i need simplicity in my rf kit, that way i feel good and i know what's what when it comes time for shooting. the rf kit is secure.
now, with the oly, the collector in me is kicking in and i'm ok with that. the om is for something different and to shake the cobwebs free when i start feeling boxed in creatively with the rf. i'm still a rf guy at heart and for serious shooting the zi will be in the bag.

Remember: You can NEVER have enough cameras!!! Ain't it the truth! LOL! ;D Even when you think you have enough, there's always that one more lurking out there to snag your interest!

Remember: You can NEVER have enough cameras!!! I've been mostly shooting with RF's. Some SLR breaks! I completely agree with your point about the number of cameras one can have. NEVER enough. OTOH, I've been taking a break from RF cameras and using SLR's. This Christmas I'll likely use an OM-1 and an OM-2 loaded with the free film Kodak was kind enough to send me. In case I run out, I have a few rolls of Agfa as back-up. Walker

I own a fair number of prime Zuiko lenses and none have disappointed me. All are sharp and work smoothly. The 180/2.8 shouldn't be any different. The OM's are excellent cameras with the only caveat being the deteriorating foam that sometimes marks the bottom of the finder. If caught in time, the foam can be removed and the potential problem goes away. Walker
