Whew! Some Pentax-related stuff came in the mail today from various purchases.
- Pentax-M SMC 24mm f/2.8. Been wanting this prime as a good street lens for my DS2. I'll also use it on my K film bodies.
- Sigma 75-300mm f/4.6-5.6. An older zoom I found on eBay. Looks to be in good condition. This one is for my harbour shooting, where I need the reach for waterfowl, boats, canoes, etc. An all-manual lens.
- Tamron 28-200mm f/3.8-5.6. A somewhat newer zoom and at a bargain price (John "Flashover" tipped me off that this one was for sale). Wasn't expecting to buy one of these, but it's fairly compact and if the optical quality is good enough, it might make a good travel lens. My wife and I will be on an Alaska cruise this coming June and this might just the ticket for travelling light.
- Pentax P5 (called P50 outside NA). A bit like a Nikon FE. Semi-automated K-mount Pentax body with several modes including manual. Takes LR-44-type batteries (thank goodness) and is relatively small and lightweight. It has a good feel. This may be my film backup camera for the Alaska cruise.
The P5 complements the Cosina CT1G I got from John -- a Cosina K1000 clone, in beautiful black.
Now I just need the temperatures to warm up a little so I can field test everything.
Pictures to come ...

Gene, that's a nice "haul" and I hold Pentax gear in very high regard. (I should: I certainly have enough of it!)
I'm looking forward to seeing your results..... I'm betting awesome as always.
