I picked up this really excellent, used Nikon F-801s with Nikon AF 28-80mm zoom for just over $100 at a local camera shop. It's the first AF 35mm camera I've ever owned -- all my others have been manual focus. It's fun to shoot with -- I ran two rolls of C-41 through it this morning on my walk around the harbour. It's deals like this that keep one of my feet in the 'film' camp Gene

Gene, I don't have any Nikons. I don't really know much about them. I'm really a Canon girl at heart I have been tempted but that would mean another lens fitting ...... Hard decision isn't it? Randy has already led me astray with Minoltas

Congratulations Gene, sure it's fun to shoot with that Nikon. I got one from my son couple of months ago. I have doubts, that his generosity has a context with his supposition about his forthcoming hereditary share ;D My 801s: lauro.fi/nikon%20f-801s.htmReijo

Rachel, too many lens mounts can drive you crazy, and Canon cameras are excellent. Of course if you ditched those Minoltas you'd have plenty of space for Nikon gear [kidding ... honest]
Reijo, that's neat. And thanks for the link. Quite a nice shooter indeed.

A very good catch considering what they sold for new. I have the next model out, F90x, and I think it is similar so you should have a good shooter there.
