I was on another photograpy board this morning and in a posting someone claimed that Fuji's 6500FD was a "rebadged Nikon slightly modified" which is certainly news to me.
Anyone have any feedback on this?
Thanks, Steve

Did they mention, which Nikon model? As far as I know comparable Nikon models they need more than slight moderations to turn into 6500Fd.
Everything is possible in the camera manufacturing but I would still like to get more proof than a proposition.

I'm with Reijo on this one. You might want to ask for the source of the poster's information, which model of Nikon he thinks Fuji has "slightly" modified and how the two companies are connected.
IMO, Fuji makes a very good camera.

The 6500 FD in no way resembles any Nikon DSLR I know of--not even a hint of a resemblance

It could be the poster got confused and was thinking of the Fuji S3 Pro and S5 Pro which were built on Nikon bodies.
