PeterW had requested to see the experimenting I was doing with some night/low light shooting. The outside night shots did not come out well due to the large mercury vapor light on my property....but some indoor ones came interesting (from a place I was working at). Both were taken with a Minolta SRT-101 Rokkor 35mm F2.8 lens and Fuji 100. SS at 1 sec., Tripod, Mirror locked up, aperture at 2.8 Bob

Thanks, Bob. Very interesting shots. Hardly any flare from the lights in the picture. Was the light coming through the window the only lighting? They look like car headlights?

PeterW
Actually the light was from a single tiny electric candle type bulb, sitting on the sill. And it was the only lighting in those 2 photos.
I want to experiment more with more outside shots but i must do it somewhere other than my house as that large mercury vapor (street light on a poll type) on my property throws way too much light........

I really like the way they came out. The single light source along with the 'oldish' looking furniture makes me think of an ideal place to sit, relax and enjoy a brew of some sort.

Thank you renaldo.
It was an old farmhouse built in 1812....... Great atmosphere and yes, a good place to enjoy a brew of choice!
