Gene, people I know who've done this say they're better than new afterwards. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Tuesday, or whatever you'd rather I did.

Thanks again everyone for your positive thoughts and well wishes. I returned home today from hospital. The wonders of modern surgery -- on Tuesday I had a double-bypass, and today I took a short walk around the property looking at the emerging gardens. Everything is so fresh and infused with spring. I've never appreciated our garden plants more than this year. I suspect it'll be some time yet before I do any shooting. Two or three days, at least  Well, there is that new D40 body to test. And when I get back to film I've acquired a Zeiss Ikoflex Ia TLR that will be interesting to try out. But today I'm just going to enjoy family, REAL food, and an afternoon baseball game. Gene |

Welcome home Gene. I wasn't sure what to do with the flowers while waiting so I'll put them here:    I was afraid the grapes would't keep so I had them myself. Enjoy the D40 and the Ikoflex, one in each hand pointing in different directions. Double your output. Take care, and do it by the book. |
