I just tried out my Canon P after it got back from a CLA. It just re confirms what I have read about them before and that is that they are one of the nicest LTM cameras as a user. Far far more convenient to use than a Leica. I tried three lenses, J-12, J-3 and a Canon Serenar 135/4, and all performed well except at infinity where they were a little soft. I must check infinity focus tonite if we have clear skys. All I can say is that anyone looking to get an LTM RF should take a long hard look at a Canon P. Bob J3 @ 4 J12 @ 4 Canon Serenar 135/4 @ 4

Bob:
I had a Canon P years ago that I got for almost nothing and it sat in a box in our crawl space for about 10 years. In the early 1990s I sold it, with an f1.8 normal lens, at a garage sale, for ten bucks! I still have a red spot on my forehead from giving myself "what was I thinking" slaps.

Yea, that was definitely a "Wow I could have had a V8" moment.
