My walklets have increased in duration. I'm now up to between 10-13 mins a walk which I do 3-4 times a day. On returning from my first walklet this morning, I used my pocket cam to snap this new columbine blossom. Canon SD800IS Gene

Gene,
A beautiful picture of a beautiful flower. The lighting is perfect.
It reminds me of a court jester's hat.

Pleased to hear your walklets are progressing, Gene.
Lovely picture of columbine blossom.
John:
You'd have to include Harlequin as well.

Bob, Mickey, John, Peter, thank you for your comments.
John, your reference went right over my head until Peter added Harlequin. Colombina, of course! Good one!

Actually I was thinking of the Seekers' song "The Carnival is Over"
"Like a drum my heart was beating, And your kiss was sweet as wine. But the joys of love are fleeting For Pierrot and Columbine."
We've had one or two discussions about the merits of certain singers on here, but Judith Durham only had to open her mouth to send shivers down my spine. I could take or leave the tambourine though!
