Not just Ugliness. U-G-L-I-N-E-S-S!!! Some potty potter must have had a great time. I wonder if he is still on the loose. What a super appetite suppressant.

Hmmm, if I put something like this in my garden I wonder if it would scare off the raccoons...

Face jugs are actually part of Southern US culture! Many people made them from the 1800s-early 1900s. While I find them repulsive, some people collect these things!

Seriously spoken it is very appropriate here. A broad-minded wideangle gaze with a slight barrel distortion and the color reproduction seems to be almost natural.

Reiska,
Thank you for making me aware of the exraordinarily beautiful attributes of this sublime masterpiece. I am ashamed of my overly hasty judgement.

Well ... unlike Mickey, I have not been hasty in my judgement. I've considered long and hard. And the conclusion I've come to? This may be an outstanding 'collectable' from some perspectives ... but, I'm sorry ... it's still really ugly from this one. No offense. LOL!! ;D

We have something as ugly - a wedding present!
It's been confined to the loft this past 39 years!
The children (Michael is now 34) have never seen it.
May bring it down on public display for our 40th Wedding celebrations in a couple of months. I'll then take a picture of it and add it to this thread

That piece is what I call "Fugly".....I leave it up to y'all to figure out that term!
You know what though....if you put a nice flower in it, it would look awesome!

Ugly is in the eyes of the beholder. I think it is a kind of neat sculpture showing a lot of facial expressions. Also rather reminds me of some face masks one would see in a Shakespere play.

What a great advertisement for an orthodontist.
And a plastic surgeon.
And a cosmetician.
And, at the end, a crematorium.
