Liz and I visited New Orleans for her son's college graduation. We skipped the pompous circumstances in favor of seeing the city. Alley near St Louis cathedral. Spanish architecture, French street names! Olympus OM-10, 50/1.8 Zuiko, Kodak 400. St Louis cathedral. OM-10, 50/1.8, Kodak 400. Old advertisement along Decatur street in the French Quarter. Wrong lenshood! OM-10, 28/2.5 Vivitar TX, Fuji 200. Lower ninth ward. This is the part of New Orleans inundated by a break in the levee by hurricaine Katrina in 2006. The levee has been rebuilt and nearly every home has been leveled and carted away. A few derelicts remain. A few have been repaired. A few new homes have been built. Most of the area is just empty foundations over grown with weeds and wildflowers. The demolition crew didn't have the heart to carry everything away from the homesite. OM-10, 28/2.5 TX, Fuji 400.

Casual, great shots!! All look great, great colors, great focus.
I acutally like the one with the wrong lens hood the best. It makes it look totally retro, like the wall painted sign in the shot. Awesome.
The alley shot and the cathedral are beautifully exposed and great colors.
The 9th Ward shot is a great capture too. I like how you framed it.....with the lonely statue of Jesus..... I guess only Jesus can help these people now......
