As some forum members are aware, we had a fire across the street from my office a couple of months ago that competly destroyed an old ice plant that was being remodeled. Right next to the site where the ice plant was and also across the street from our office is a company that mixes cattle feed. Last week I snapped the first photo of that mill. The second was shot this morning. The fire that destroyed it over the weekend still is smouldering. In both cases the fires were caused by worker negligence. I have to admit that in the case of the most resent fire few folks at this end of town are terribly upset. For years the mill has been pumping chaff and dust into the air, covering neighboring businesses and vehicles, in utter disregard of environmental regulations.
