These are a few recent pictures -- Leica M7, Summicron-M 50mm/f2, Fuji Superia 200 film. I like struggling with my other cameras but I do find the Leica to be reliable. There was some adjustment of contrast on these, not much else. This was taken at an estate sale, inside the basement recreation room. I found these two dolls and set them on the couch for a close-up. The SF Zoo is near my house and I sometimes go there for a 'walk in the park'. Here's a snapshot from the lemur exhibit. No lemurs in sight but I liked the water.. The colors of the wall and the photo attracted me, plus I have always been a huge fan of Lennon. Last one, mostly about composition and contrast. Thanks for taking a look, Michael

Thank you, basseden. I send my film out for processing. The lab is called Swan Lab, it's the one my local photo store, Action Camera, uses in San Francisco. I also use PhotoWorks in San Francisco. I use different Windows software to adjust the scans a little, and resize them for 72 dpi and screen size. Sometimes I use Gimp too, on my Linux machine, for adjusting and resizing. Right now I'm very happy with Swan Labs.

...thank you very much and I really like your sense of composition (plus the fact that you're using film) and Depth-of-Field on first picture in particular - please, keep up your talented work! p.s.: this is my latest Yashica FR 1 (Just got it from Mark Hama) w/CZ 50mm f1.4 MM test pics, no manipulations of any kind - right out of scanner.

Very nice! I don't know the Yashica FR 1, I will have to google it Mark Hama does quality work, doesn't he? He did a CLA on a Yashica 5000e and Yashica 5000 for me... I think you have a good combo of lens and camera there, judging from the photo.

...Mark Hama does quality work, doesn't he? ...I'll let you know very soon: at this moment he's working on my second Yashica FR 1 (all together he'd repaired 2 cameras for me in the past with 1 camera sent back w/same problem). I know he's very hard-working person and I respect that very-very much...

...hi Michael,
I just want you to know that I just got my second Yashica FR 1 after repair work (complete CLA by Mark Hama) and it looks very beautiful, almost like new - I didn't recognize it in the beginning (I was like "who's camera did he send me by mistake?).
Anyway, I'm planing to put film in it to see how it works now...
Quick question: do you like what he did on your 5000E and do you like 5000 and 5000e as cameras and why??
Please, let me know in the details and thank you very much in advance!
