Gene:
As usual, perfect. The Lady Bird looks like a gem stone.

Lady Beetle. Lady Bird. I always called them Lady Bugs. You say tomayto. I say tomahto. At least we all agree that that outstanding picture is of a lady.

Hi Gene, Good to see you're feeling better. As always you make the nearly impossible look so easy. Nicely done.

Wayne, Mickey, Roy, Curt, Bob, thanks very much. It's a delight to be able to walk and cycle to my favourite photo spots again! Rehab is going well and I'm feeling very, very good. Thanks for all your support.

Gene,
Great to hear this, Gene, but don't overdo it, all too easy when we're feeling better.
We too often take simple pleasures like this for granted, and don't think about them until we're denied them for a time. My mother was fond of saying that there's nothing in the world worth as much as your health and strength.

Glad to hear you're feeling better, Gene ... but Bob is right ... could you occasionally post a real dud of a picture? All these gems are making me feel bad about my picture-taking!
LOL! ;D (nicely done, my friend)

Peter, Ron, thanks for the comments. I try not to overdo it, but it's a delicate balance sometimes. I don't want to underdo it either :-)
Bob, Ron, believe me when I say that I take as many duds as anyone else -- more, perhaps. I'll return with a digital camera and from say 30-50 shots on the card, I may have 6 when I finish cullling, and of those I may post 2.

Mickey:
We always called them Lady Bugs, too. Still do most of the time, for that matter.
First time we showed one to our first granddaughter, when she was maybe 8 months old, she held it in her hand for a moment, then popped it into her mouth and ate it!

Gene,
Thank you.
You just made me feel a whole lot better about my picture taking ability although my useable average is considerably lower than yours.

Wayne,
From your pictures it doesn't seem to have hurt her at all. Fresh protein. Indeed, I may try chomping a couple. Who knows?
